It's worth noting that the majority of players would like their week 17 pay to be equal to the remainder of the season. At present, the pay will be set at $250.000 for the extra game. But, Peter King reported in Madden 23 coins his Football Morning in America column that players could ask for more money from their teams during Week 17. Of all the requests for additional money, it seems to be the most straightforward to obtain.
Another issue I've talked about in depth regarding health insurance benefits after the player's careers have ended. At present, we are covered for five years health insurance coverage after retirement. The players want more, particularly because a 17th game or additional playoff games put more risk for the body.

This raises questions, most notably, who pays for the services. What is the Madden NFL 23? For players, this isn't great enough, and they need to be sure they're protected by insurance beyond five years.
I've suggested this before however a tiered system for health care could work. If you play for four seasons and you get 5 years worth of medical insurance. Five seasons equals 7 years worth of insurance and so on. I don't expect owners to offer players life-long health insurance and I doubt that players will ask for this during negotiations.
If I were to make a guess, I would say that Mut 23 coins participants will eventually agree to the CBA this week following a having a meeting personally with their representatives and the office of the league.
