Any pet sitter should have easy access to this knowledge. Where is their neighbourhood or preferred veterinarian? I advise keeping the veterinarian's phone number handy, whether it be saved in your phone's contacts or written on the freezer.
It's also crucial to know what to do in case the worst occurs and you're forced to choose whether to spare an animal's life or not if the owner is departing for an extended period of time or will be out of reach. Even though it's depressing to consider, it's best to be ready just in case.
