Hi folks! I’m looking for some advice regarding occupational therapy services in Australia. My sister is recovering from a complicated wrist injury, and even though she’s healing physically, she’s struggling with basic daily tasks like cooking, washing, and even typing for work. She was told OT could help her regain confidence and independence, but we’re unsure where to start and what a good service should actually include. If anyone has used an OT service that does home visits and gives practical, real-world support, I’d appreciate your recommendations.

Hey! We had a very positive experience with an OT provider that worked directly at home and focused on the exact daily activities my partner was struggling with after his accident. Here’s the link https://besthometherapy.com.au/services/occupational-therapy/ they were incredible. The therapist didn’t just show exercises but actually helped set up the home environment, adjusted routines, and made sure everything was doable and sustainable. It felt very practical and supportive, not just clinical. Definitely worth a look.
